Root Shoot Leaf is a band, just like your band, who formed in a basement. They were active from 2004-2007, releasing 5 full-lengths and 3 EPs. One time, they toured the Midwest (all the way to Wichita!). Then more interesting things happened and they moved on. This record encapsulates something of what it would've been like to live with them in their dingy apartments during that time.
